What is cbd?
CBD is naturally grown and the use of hemp has been around for thousands of years dating back to written history of Chinese and Egyptian times. CBD is derived from cannabis plants where the other major ingredient is THC or marijuana. There are dozens of other ingredients and terpenes. If the plant contains less than 0.3% THC it is called “hemp”. CBD is a member of the phyto-cannbinoid family where Cannabidiol (or “CBD”) plays a sort of regulating role within the Endocannabinoid System (ECS). It’s this internal bodily system that is, in part its believed, responsible for regulating pain, feelings of uneasiness, sleep. CBD doesn’t interact directly with cannabinoid receptors (CB1 and CB2), but instead, it stimulates the endocannabinoid system to produce its own cannabinoids. In addition, it slows their breakdown by inhibiting the FAAH enzyme, so the endocannabinoids can stay in your body for longer. In short, it perhaps can help your body help itself versus suppressing pain or anxiety.

Delta-8 is a popular natural hemp derivative found in Cannabis and often also can be made from CBD. And since When CBD was made federally legal with the 2018 US Farm Bill, Delta 8 when made from CBD was deemed legal in all 50 states as well.
